dings on the back side - none of which affects playability or tone. It
has a fairly recent Emilio Lyons overhaul and the pads have some good
life left in them.
Besides the original neck, the horn also comes with a Paraschos wooden
is a nice "vocal" quality to the tone in this horn. The very even scale
from top to bottom makes intonation a breeze and there is a slender
"zippyness" and singing sense that makes both ballad playing and fast,
burning stuff seem easy.
The included Paraschos neck gives it a
slightly rounder and warmer sound. Intonation and response with this
neck is also excellent.
A really nice player and a good deal with the two necks which gives you
different timbral possibilities.
