This Mark VI tenor has seen only a
small amount of play-time and retains nearly all its lacquer. There is
only little lacquer wear on the touch points and no resolders to be
detected anywhere. There is slight lacquer loss and a little unevenness
in the body tube in the area around the bell to body brace which is an
indicator of a past impact. It is not possible to see if any dent work
was done and just mentioned here for full disclosure. It is not an
obvious issue and I do not believe it affects playability.
It has the original style plastic resonators and all the pads are in very good condition.
The horn plays effortlessly from top to bottom. It is in the middle of
the dark/bright spectrum and quite focused and directional in its
